week 14 already! say it with flowers

I truly cannot believe its week 14 of anything goes challenge already. This is my card this week a magnolia image distress ink coloured basic grey first layer and then more flower paper from wild rose studio (Milton)and loads of flower embellies as is the challenge, everything is distress edged in frayed burlap and all except the sentiment which is an old stash one are from the craftden, many thanks for popping by x

just chillin on a bank holiday

Did myself a bit of therapy yesterday and this afternoon. I've coloured a few images I've stamped, very therapeutic mind you I should have been ironing my uniform for work yesterday lets say I looked a bit creased at 7am today oops (am i bovered??) but colouring was less stressful and this afternoon I just carried on Holly had link for the day, Alicia and Joe popped round to take him out tonight after tea, so he's happy and I'm totally chilled which makes a change lol I have even done the dt work for the anything goes challenge tomorrow dont faint

just got to remember to load it tomorrow x

three layers at a push!!!

Hi it has been an absolute age since I blogged last been so busy and my mojo has gone south for the summer but I did do a card a while back and thought I may get away with it at a push!There are three layers of card and three flowers layered up (only two layers there shhh)

It is a lily of the valley stamp, distress coloured and layered on to some papers (no idea what they are) hope to get crafting again soon

The house is coming together slowly the extension has been drawn a builder has given me a price two more to come "HOW MUCH??###*****"LOL came the loud reply,but I want it and I want it now I'll get over it. The bathroom is coming on though got rid of the bath and am having lovely large shower, but things are a bit primative at the moment!!!!!! so on that note I'm going to clear up and have a nice cup of tea.

Here's my stars and stripes card for the anything goes challenge close run thing but done it actually it was a rejigged card I did a couple of weeks ago before the house took over my life.

It already had the stripes so I cut a few stars and added them , distress inked the image and edged all the card with frayed burlap. The image is a new lotv (lily of the valley) little boy and I think he is so cute and probably naughty too. x

This is the view outside my kitchen door and I love it the garden is quiet and the woods are beyond, mind you magpies are soo noisy but its better than traffic.

This is the kitchen minus fridge and washer but its not staying its coming out and an extension is planned mind you its getting out of control lol it started as a kitchen dinning room now a utility and downstairs loo is being thought about (you know old age and incontinence )
And finally this is the front room no telly yet but I loved the fireplace thought it was lime stone lol "buyer beware" its MDF looks good though well it will when that paper is off and the furniture is arranged and put back together instead of being dumped down anywhere. I am shattered as it has needed a clean (and some) thank the lord for fairy power spray, but by the weekend (WHICH ONE!!)I should be almost be there.So what this is, it is my excuse for not doing my DT work for Lynne I will try better next week miss but I cant promise ha ha xx

MOVING IN AT LAST WAY HAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thurs is moving day all being well,if it all goes to plan.
I have had a weekend and a half I've bought a washing machine a new fangled telly and a fridge, organised new house insurance trying to organise council tax but they are busy at the moment I've decided to wait till I get in to order a new suite coz of sizes of doors etc and this new house is now the size of a shoe box in my mind.SO anyway Mums got the flags out (I could be hurt) she has just said I'm not hoovering round this table again till its gone I think the stress is showing lol. I shall not have time to craft for the next couple of weeks so I have stored up a few things (forgot about them actually)and I shall post them as and when I get bored of seeing the same post every day on my blog and so you all think I'm so industrious ha ha x
